NUMBER TO Everyone Urged to V o te A t School Election Eteryone in the Gold Hill school district is urged to at tend the annual meeting and •lection to be held in Gold Hili next Monday, June 16. and cast their ballot. A di rector for a term of three years and clerk for a one year term will be elected at this time. The meeting starts at two o’clock. You do not need to be a registered voter to cast your ballot but must be a citizen of the United States, 21 years of age and a resident of this district for the past thirty days. Army Camp Problems To Be Studied Many of the problems which will confront the city of Gold Hill when the proposed army cantonment is established here will be studied by a five-man committee made up of local men. This committee will at tend meetings held in the various cities of this section, pertaining to the new army camp. They will put forth every effort in an attempt to get first hand information oa the project. This committee will make recom mendations to the city council and school board concerning action •£» be taken when the various prob lems arise. Dave Winn has been appointed to represent the city council, Wil liam Autenrieth to represent the school board, Norman Gail as rep resentative of the recently organiz ed Commercial club and Autenrieth and R. G. Wigle to represent the Gold Hill Grange. These four mem bers will select the fifth member of their-committee. At the regular meeting of the Commercial club held Monday eve ning in John Chisholm’s office a discussion was held on the canton ment.
