Of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday,
March 10.
The Oolden Text was, "O man
greatly beloved, fear not; peace be
unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong"
(Dan. 10:10).
Among the citations which com
prised the Lesson-Sermon was the
following from the Bible: "And
Ood said. Let us make man in our
Image, after our likeness: and let
them have dominion over the fish
of the sea. and over the fowl of
the air, and over the cattle, and
over all the earth, and over every
creeping thing that creepeth upon
the earth.
So Ood created man
In his own Image, In the image of
Ood created he them" (Oen. 1:2«,
27).
The Lesson-Sermon also included
the following correlative passages
from the Christian Science text
book, “Science and Health with
Key to the Scriptures" by Mary
Baker Eddy: "The 8crlpturea in
form us that man is made In the
Image and likeness of God . . . Man
la spiritual and perfect; and be
cause he Is sprltuai and perfect,
he must be so understood In Chris
tian Science" (p.475).
