A basket lunch was enjoyed at
noon by those attending today's ses
sion, and this evening a banquet
w ill be In charge of the Central I
Point group. This w ill be followed
by a social hour, and the d rill con
test. The public is invited to this
part of the program.

School Budget Hearing*
A public hearing to discuss the
profiosed budget for the City of
Gold H ill for 1936 has been called
for October 29, at the city hall. Firat
publication of the budget is made in
this issue of The News. The amount
to be raised by taxes this year is
estimated at 83,846.00 compared
with 83,793.04 last year.
The budget hearing for Ihe school
district w ill be held at the school
house Monday night, October 21.
