During the first three months of 1935, 7,777 curs were listed from o ther states, while in 1934, 7,053 motor vehicles of visitors to the stale were tabulated. In spite of the greater numbrr of tourist* registering in the quarterly period the month of March showed u falling off in its totals, as coni- nared to March, 1934. Tills year, 3,331 curs were checked in and Inst March, 3969 were totaled. As usual California topped the list of states sending visitors to Oregon. During the quarter, 3,333 cars cam* in from the neighboring state to the south while Washing ton sent 3,130 automobiles over its state line into Oregon.
