A new eye-witness to the fatal a ffra y came to the fore last week in the person o f George Brooks. Brooks claims that he was fish in g near the Buck cabin w hen he heard the disturbance and was approach in g the scene when he saw the fa tal shot and w hat transpired before. Brooks, a neighbor o f Buck, m a in tained silence, though he testified at Ihe firs t tr ia l as a character w it ness.
