A man in Chicago was given life imprisonment for
stealing turkeys v.hile many murders and gangsters still
range free upon the city streets. Either Chicago is get
ting to be a more law abiding place or else a thiet who
steals turkeys must be considered too much of a piker to
be permitted to run at large.

It seems as though there is little excitement engen
dered in the rural districts over the coming primary. All
