I claim that the Peach root Is fnr superior to Plum routs for graning prunes and plums on, for these rea sons: l, ou never havo any spronts to destroy tho lite of your trees. 2. Tha pruno and plnm succeed better on pcaeh than on plum. 3. The prune and plum bear younger on psacb roots, and the frnit is of better qnalliy. My brothtr has a Pruno orchard of 400 trees on peach roots five yeaM old tht had fortj pounds to the trey this season. His trees are ery trirlftyand fine.
