Butter is scarce and high as it has been, whilceggs are plenty at 10 cents per do,n. I'otatoesand apples aie scarce for a cood article and bring a fair price. Hay, nets, and mill feed are very high, and will probably continue so until the season is over. The supply of fresh butter and early yegetables comes-from California by every steamer. European Grain Markets. LvJinrooi., March 31. A leadiug corn circular says that with the return of more temperate weather and gentle rains, corn will 'be calmer. Farmers haxlng previously purcbasod wheat to a fair extent, are disinclined to op si ate except at eomo reduc tion. .Foreign growers, on the contrary, are stic in their demands. Prices in the agri cultural districts are fully supported in this aud neighboring markets. Since Tuesday little has been done. Fresh arrivals are small.
