Our beautiful State is rapidly Increasing in wealth and num bers, and in all the material Interests that constitute rank and influence among her sister States. As wo are approach ing our centennial year, would; It hot be wise in us to contribute our olloringx for u new building. To tills end, I suggest tliat tho piescnt Iloiud of Managers con stitute a tinanco committee in the Inter est of said building. If the building cau ue completed tuts tail in timo tor our StutO Fair, 1 propose to bo one of 150 that will give $100 each for wild building. If it is not nraetieublo to erect the building this season, then I propose to be one of 2U0tpat will contribute $100 each as a centennial ottering for that purpose. As u Society, we want an imposing, sub stantial building, one that will reflect ciedk on us a people and as n State. If any one has a better plan,No would be pleased to hear from you; so, friends, speak out, on this question, and let us know your minds. Y. P..Vaison. From Turner. 1 TuitNKn. SDt.' ti. 1875? Ki.
