In continuation of the same subject, I shall make a few remarks toward elevating the condition of "country houses," socially, mor ally and spiritually. It cannot bo denied that the outward ap pearance is sometimes overlooked because of expense and time necessary for adornment; there are many noble exceptions, and these ex ceptions will bo found equally advanced in all the internal arrangements of tho household.
