The guns mentioned urc 48 needle guns, wldi 300 rounds of ammunition, on their way to the ljike basin, which tiy order of the Governor, issued a month ngo in anticipation of dlltlcul tles, had been directed to be placed in the hands of settlers in the most exposed loealltics. Tlie Governor telegraphed yesterday to Senators Kclley and Mitchell to obtain an order from the War Depart ment for 000 necdlo guns to bo turned over to this State from the nearest arsenal ; two hundred of which arc nlronily due on former requisitions and the balance to bo credited on future tjuotas due the State.
