The military woro In lino at 10 o'clock, and in half mi hour after the procession was en route, tlio cortego being formed ns fol lows : Police escort, under command of Gen. II. G. Ward ; "1st, 0th, and 17th regiments, two batteries of the First Artillery, which were In Fort Sumter with Anderson. Next canto the corpse under Fort Sumter's ling, In an artillery caisson, alter which fol lowed tlio pall bearers and many mis cellaneous organizations. The proces sion passed through l'ltt street to Twenty-third street, thence to the Thirty-fourth street ferry, where the bodv was placed on board a steamer for West Point. Tlio streets through which tho procession passed were densely crowded. Kings flying on the route were dropped nt naif mast. The funeral of Prof. Morso tnkes place Friday morning at 11 o'clock in Madison avenue Presbyterian church. The remains will be Interred in Green wood Cemetery. Rev. In tlio Superior Court in lioston, recently, a onso of interest to tho traveling public wn.s decided. In 1808, Mr. J. A. Coleman, of Hos- ton, nttempted to rhlo from Now York to New Haven on a coupon ticket, which was rejected by tlio conductor on tlio ground that nltho' it was good from Now Haven to Now York, it did not jkiss tlio holder in tho opposite direction. Mr. Coleman insisted that tho company was com pelled to receive tlio ticket, as it rep resented money paid for u passage lictween theso points, and was put olTtlio train by force, receiving such injury ns to effect his health. Ho sued tho Now York and Now Hnvcn ltullwiiy Company, and recovered. Tlio railroad obtained a now trial, mid wero beaten again.
