PROGRAM MANAGER
The City of Portland is hiring a Columbia Slough Sed-
iment Program Manager (Water Resources Program
Manager). The position is located in the Watershed Ser-
vices Group and works under the general direction of the
Columbia Watersheds Manager. This position is respon-
sible for implementation and strategic development of the
Columbia Slough Sediment Program, which operates in
a complex regulatory context to ensure City compliance
with regulatory mandates and protection of public health.
This position requires knowledge of pollutant character-
istics in sediment and water of natural systems, and is re-
sponsible for formulating independent recommendations
regarding data needs and data interpretation for sed-
iment contamination, municipal stormwater quality and
