‘Deepwater Horizon’ Depicts Real-Life
Events Surrounding BP Oil Spill

n April 20, 2010, the Deepwater
Horizon drilling rig, located 41
miles of the coast of Louisiana,
exploded when high-pressure
methane gas blew out the drill pipe. 11
