The work for this Contract generally consists of con-
structing bentonite-lined treatment wetlands and unlined
disposal wetlands for the City of Prineville’s wastewater
system with improvements to the Crooked River ripari-
an area. Work will include approximately 360,000 cubic
yards (CY) of excavation, 20 control structures, 12 man-
holes and 14 inlet/outlet structures, single and double
waterless restroom facilities, approximately 28,300 feet
of walking paths, a visitors center with parking area and
access road, approximately 5,500 feet of 15-inch polyvi-
nyl chloride (PVC) sewer pipe and 2,100 feet of 18-inch
PVC sewer pipe, approximately 3,800 feet of 12-inch
PVC irrigation pipe, approximately 2,900 feet of 8 inch
PVC irrigation pipe, approximately 6,800 feet of electri-
cal conduit, approximately 25,000 feet of fencing, two
replacement pumps at the existing effluent pump station,
the addition of four aeration units to the existing treat-
ment wastewater lagoons, and miscellaneous demoli-
tion, improvements, fittings, and other appurtenances.
The Crooked River riparian improvements generally con-
sist of excavating approximately 4,600 feet of new side
channel, approximately 14,400 CY of floodplain, and ap-
proximately 6,500 CY for a vernal pool. Work for this Proj-
ect will include constructing wood bank protection and
habitat structures; juniper revetments and tree planting;
along with excavation, backfill, and compaction; and all
other associated work, materials, and labor to complete
the Project.
The Electrician / Instrument Technicians perform general
power electrician work as well as instrument technician
work including installing, maintaining, repairing, modify-
ing, and developing specifications for precision/process
control instrumentation systems, and user interfaces, and
to monitor, analyze, control and meter processes, and
HVAC and SCADA systems. For more detailed informa-
