Kitsap Transit, the public transportation provider in Kitsap
County is seeking proposals from advertising firms with
experience in the sales of exterior advertising and the
subsequent duties of printing, posting, maintaining and
removing said advertising. Kitsap Transit intends to
award a five-year contract for these services.

Public Involvement Best Practices Coordinator
The position is responsible for developing, coordinating,
and supporting the Public Involvement Best Practices
Program. Responsibilities include supporting the Public
Involvement Advisory Council (PIAC), a City commission
of community leaders and City staff that develops guide-
lines and policy recommendations for citywide involve-
ment of the public in government decision making;
convening professional development forums and work-
shops (Citywide Public Involvement Network or CPIN) on
public involvement skills and topics for City staff; and pro-
viding technical assistance to City agencies with a focus
on equitable public involvement policy, strategies for
engaging historically underrepresented communities,
and online digital engagement tools.
SALARY: $4,753 to $6,335 Monthly

UNARMED SECURITY SERVICES
Tacoma Housing Authority
Tacoma Housing Authority (THA) is soliciting proposals
for qualified professional security or guard service com-
panies to provide unarmed security at THA develop-
ments. The selected firm will perform the following tasks:
patrol THA developments; respond to calls from resi-
dents, site based agency staff and from home owner
and; enhance the safety and security of employees, res-
idents, and property in these communities.
Obtaining the RFP: To obtain a copy of the full Request
for Proposals (RFP) package, the full RFP may be
obtained

www.tacomahousing.org, under the Real Estate Man-
agement and Housing Services section, Current Bids
and Proposals. If you have problems obtaining the RFP,
please email yginoulis@tacomahousing.org. When
requesting the RFP, please provide all of your company’s
information, to include physical address, contact person,
email, and phone and fax numbers. While most pack-
ages will emailed within the same day, please allow up to
24 hours before receiving the package.
Proposal Deadline: All firms interested in providing a
proposal submission shall prepare and present their pro-
posal on or before Wednesday, February 19, 2014, 2:00
PM PST. All firms shall submit their proposal in strict
accordance with the requirements of this Request for
Proposals (RFP) to be considered responsive. Those
firms making a submittal not in accordance with the
requirements and format of this proposal may be
deemed non responsive. All submitted proposals shall be
evaluated for responsiveness to the requirements of the
RFP. Those proposals deemed non responsive shall be
eliminated from further consideration. No faxed or elec-
tric proposals will be accepted.
Pre Proposal Meeting: A pre submittal meeting will be
held one day only on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2:00
PM. The pre submittal meeting is not necessary; howev-
er, it is encouraged that you attend as there will be impor-
tant proposal submission information that will be
discussed. The pre submittal meeting will be held at the
administrative offices of Tacoma Housing Authority, locat-
ed at 902 South L Street, Tacoma, WA 98405. For direc-

qualify for both WBE and MBE may only be used once to
