high-activity environment. Hiring Range: $34,000 to

Multnomah County's Department of Community Servic-
es is seeking an experienced Engineer 3 for its Bridge
Services Division. This position performs all aspects of
the management, planning, design and construction of
the most complex bridge rehabilitation or replacement
projects. The successful candidate will develop project
budgets, select, manage and review the technical work
product of engineering consultants. Additional responsi-
bilities include: leading assigned construction manage-
ment and inspection staff, overseeing in-house
engineering and drafting/design, coordinating complex
public involvement meetings, developing and overseeing
construction contract management functions, and acting
as a project liaison with other public agencies (e.g.,
ODOT, the City of Portland, FHWA and other local, state

Prevailing wage rates must be paid on the project in
accordance with ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Applica-
ble rates are July 1, 2012 and amendment dated October
1, 2012.

All work shall be performed in accordance with the pro-
visions of the Contract Documents contained or refer-
enced in the Project Manual now available on the
Commission’s website at www.pdc.us/bids (under “Open
Public Bid Opportunities”). Questions, Bids, Workforce
and Business Equity Forms, and First Tier Subcontractor
Forms should be directed to Nathan P. Mosley, Procure-
ment Services Coordinator. A mandatory pre-bid confer-
ence will be held at 2 p.m. on January 8, 2013 at the
Commission’s office. A mandatory site visit will be held
at 10 a.m. on January 9, 2013 and all parties shall meet
at Jefferson High School (5210 N. Kerby), Commercial
Street side (east) parking lot entrance next to the new
gymnasium. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT PARK IN
THAT LOT.

The PORTLAND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
(COMMISSION) will receive sealed bids at the Commis-
sion’s office located at 222 NW Fifth Avenue, Portland,
Oregon 97209 for Frontage Improvements at Jeffer-
son High School until the deadline of 2 p.m., Pacific
Time (PT) on January 22, 2013 (“Bid Deadline”). All bids
will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Commis-
sion’s office immediately after the time of the Bid Dead-
line. Each bidder shall submit to the Commission’s office
the First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form, the Good
Faith Effort Compliance Form 1 and the Good Faith Effort
