2012 Contracting Opportunity for Professional
Engineering and Consulting Projects
During the calendar year 2012, Clark County Public
Transportation Benefit Area (C-TRAN) anticipates proj-
ects, which may require “on call” services of engineering,
architectural, or other professional nature. C-TRAN will
categorize “on call” services as those that are incidental,
on a case-by-case basis, and costing no more than
$25,000 per project. The following list of projects may be
addressed by C-TRAN, on an “on call” basis during the
upcoming year.

Consultants interested in any of these upcoming oppor-
tunities are requested to submit general Statements of
Interest and Qualifications on or before May 17, 2012.
Completed statements should be mailed to Julie Syring,
Financial Manager, C-TRAN, PO Box 2529, Vancouver,
WA 98668-2529 or via e-mail to procurement@c-
tran.org.
Statements should include a brief letter of introduction
and a resume. Please limit the response to no more than
ten pages in length. Please do not submit notebooks or
spiral binders. All information received will be retained for
one year. The consultants to be considered for the proj-
ects listed above will be selected from those consultants
on file or from responses to future advertisements for
services specific to a project. Ensure e-mail contact
information is included in your document.

land to know about the work you do and the trip you’re
taking here?
Bernard: It is one heck of a show – you’re going to enjoy
it no matter your age, your gender, even what your energy
really is, especially if you’re into motocross and motorcy-
cles. Just with the tricks, with the dancing, with the
acrobatics, with the things blowing up, the lasers – I mean
we have fireworks inside.
Coming out to this show, it’s going to be a show that you
will never forget. Honestly.
Kacie: I want them to know that it is such an amazing
show and not just because I’m in it (she laughs). Even if
you’ve never seen anything like what the riders do and the
motocross guys do – for me after the first time I ever saw
what they do I could honestly say that I’m a fan of SMS rid-
ers and what they do and how they execute it. There’s a lot
of detail that go into this show and I just want everyone to
enjoy it.

The Parks and Environmental Services Department of
Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the
laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, locat-
ed at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736,
is requesting sealed bids for supplying new or recondi-
tioned 55-gallon steel drums.
Bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., April 4, 2012, in
Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Port-
land, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Karen Slusarenko, RFB
12-2016. First Tier Subcontractor and Good Faith Effort
forms are due from all bidders within two (2) hours of the
bid due time or the bid will be considered non-respon-
sive.
The contract contemplated consists of furnishing an esti-
mated 6,000 open top 55-gallon steel drums and 1,700
tight-head 55-gallon steel drums, to be used for bulking
and lab packing hazardous materials received,
processed for disposal, and recycled through two per-
manent facilities and miscellaneous satellite activities.
