whodunit revolving around a terrified

becomes convinced that the same serial
killer whose clutches she escaped a year ago
has just abducted her suddenly-missing sis-

Good Deeds (PG-13 for sexuality, vio-
lence, profanity and mature themes) Tyler
Perry wrote, directed and stars in this mod-
ern morality play as an unfulfilled, corpo-
rate CEO who has second thoughts about
marrying his shallow fiancée (Gabrielle
Union) after befriending a struggling, sin-
gle-mom (Thandie Newton) who works as a
janitor in his company’s office building.

violence) Screen adaptation of John Mars-
den’s novel of the same name about seven
Australian teenagers who band together to
survive when they return from a weeklong
