Partners in Diversity/
Metro Parks and Environmental Services, a department
of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under
the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter,
located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-
2736, is requesting proposals for the M. James Gleason
Boat Ramp Parking Lot / Restroom Project - Design &
Engineering.
Sealed proposals are due close of business Wednesday,
February 29, 2012, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE
Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention:
Karen Slusarenko, RFP 12-2006.
Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to com-
plete design and engineering of the parking lots, land-
scaping and restroom facilities. The site is located along
mile 109.4 on the Columbia River and at 4325 Marine
Drive.
A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held at 600
NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232 in Room 270 on
February 13, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Interest-
ed proposers and subconsultants are required to attend
the conference in order to gain information about the
RFP requirements.

Leadership Portland
The Portland Business Alliance and Partners in Diversi-
ty seeks a dynamic and personable professional for the
position of Executive Director, Partners in Diversity/Pro-
gram Director, Leadership Portland. This executive will
provide leadership and management to Partners in
Diversity (PiD) as well as organizing and managing the
Portland Business Alliance Leadership Portland (LP)
Program.
As Executive Director of PiD, the position provides lead-
ership and management to PiD and its workgroups,
including articulating the mission and goals to stake-
holders; event and program planning; day-to-day opera-
tions; fiscal management; internal and external
communications, member recruitment, and short- and
long-range strategic planning. The Executive Director is
accountable to Partners in Diversity as a whole and
reports to the Partners in Diversity board chair.
As LP Program Director, the position is responsible for
managing and organizing the annual scope of work
required to successfully implement the leadership pro-
gram including leading the LP recruitment and applicant
selection process; constructing and facilitating LP plan-
ning committees; planning and organizing the retreat,
program days, and graduation; and budget monitoring.
This position is accountable to the Portland Business
Alliance and reports to the Vice President of Communi-
cations and Programming.
Each position requires approximately 50 percent time
commitment based upon a full-time schedule. Current
employer of record is the Portland Business Alliance.
Master's degree or equivalent in public administration,
education or related field, or

in non-profit or private sector program administration,

interested in providing a quantity of up to eight (8) used
accessible lift equipped MCI 102D3 motor coaches,
model year 1994 through 2001, or approved equal.
Kitsap Transit reserves the right to reject any and all bids
without cause and to waive any informalities or irregular-
