professional level accounting activities such as the
review and reconciliation of financial data, maintenance

Requires Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or
university, preferably in Accounting or Business, or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires 3 years experience in a professional level
accountant position with substantial responsibilities for
day-to-day accounting systems and reports, thorough
knowledge of GAAP (also prefer knowledge of GAAS),
strong interpersonal and communication skills. Prefer
direct experience in public or private sector in the hospi-
tality industry.

FACILITIES MANAGER
Nonprofit community development company with over
1300 units of affordable housing in the greater Portland
metro area seeking a full-time Facilities Manager.
Oversees and directs activities of maintenance staff and
activities related to preventative and predictive mainte-
nance. Determines major repair needs and oversees
activities related to code upgrades, renovations or
remodeling of units, as needed, and coordinates projects
with appropriate Asset Management and Housing
Development staff and provides direction to support staff
related to projects. Monitors costs and expenditures.
The Facilities Manager is a member of the senior man-
agement team and contributes to the organization’s
short and long range strategies and project goals and
budget preparation.
Specific Job Skills: Strong working knowledge of cur-
rent renovation and construction practices and proce-
dures, building codes, building systems and applicable
laws and regulations. Ability to analyze, evaluate and act
on issues and/or problems, reach sound conclusions
and take appropriate action. Possess good verbal, writ-
ten and interpersonal communication skills. Computer
skills required. Significant experience in effective super-
vision of staff and management of contracted work.
Education and/or Experience: Requires experience,
training or certification equivalent to a General
Contractor and a minimum of five years’ contractor or two
years’ construction manager experience.

Washington County, Oregon is requesting sealed pro-
posals from qualified firms to provide participation in the
project based voucher program for the Housing Authority
of Washington County.
Proposals must be received by 3:00 PM Wednesday
September 14, 2011 in the Washington County
Purchasing Division Office, Public Services Building,
Suite 270, 155 North First Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97124.
Proposals received after the designated time and date,
