Get set for a splash of plaid coats
this season. They're coming: out big,
bold, often blurred in colors ranging
from warm earth tones to combinations
that are real shockers. .
Color and pattern are only part of the
story. Fresh from manufacturers come
new water-repellent woolens for all
weather wear, and coats in lighter but
just as warm fabrics. Even more im
aginative are the dress-coat combina
tions (to buy together, or not) and
quick-as-a-wink reversible styles.
If you're travel-bent for town or
country, take a gander at these fashions ;
pennywise, and pretty besides, they'll
count in any wardrobe.
