Driver Sentenced
On Liquor Charge
Herbert Carlyle Sutton, 60,
1477 Olive St., Eugene, was
sentenced Friday to ten days in
jail or a $100 fine on a charge
of driving while under the in
fluence of intoxicating liquor.
Sutton chose to serve the Jail
sentence. He was convicted on
the chargo by a jury on Oct. 3
after pleading innocent. He was
originally arrested on 18th Ave
nue near Potter Street on Aug.
30 by Eugene police.
