Artists Showcase
Event Scheduled
Plans are underway for the
fourth annual Artists Showcase,
to be held July 1 through 4 in
Eugene, open to all amateur and
professional artists in the West.
Hours will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.,
daylight, in King Cole Room of
Eugene Hotel.
Entry deadline is Saturday,
June 30, 6 p.m. daylight. A mini
mum of 15 cash prizes in addi
tion to ribbon awards will be
offered.

A chilled soup is so refresh
ing on a warm day. One you'll
like is this:
Combine a can (10 ounces)
frozen condensed cream of
shrimp soup with a soup can
milk. Heat until soup is thawed;
stir now and then. Allow soup
to cool slightly; blend in V cup
sour cream. Chill thoroughly in
refrigerator. Top each serving
with a sprinkling of chopped
chives.
