the Islands for the two women,
who claim a friendship of 54
years. , ; .
The two women plan to visit
the outer Islands during their
stay. They will return to Eugene
by plane.

When Quota Club last spring
entertained the girls of Rebec
House, with 'Whom they have
maintained a big-sisterly relation
ship for several years, the girls
had such a wonderful time with
''Buz," the big Labrador dog be
longing to , the hostess, Miss
Theima Schaefer, that they asked
if they might "please come back
next year.
The sequel took place Wcdnes
day evening, when the Rebec
girls, about 25 of them, with their
housemother, Mrs. Z e 1 1 a M.
Kusby, met at Miss Schaefers'
home with an almost equal num
ber of Quota members. The girls
broiled hamburgers on the patio
while Quotarians arranged other
dishes upon a buffet table nearby,
buz was the center of a romping
group of girls most of the eve
ning, and got his share of ham
burgers.
After the dinner, the girls re
ported to Miss Schaefer that they
nad appointed a clean-up com-
mittee, which went into action at
once. ,
Co-chairman with Miss Schaef
ers for Quota was Mrs. Earl By-
rom, and they were assisted by
Airs. j. Lorin Edmiston and Mrs
Earl Blackburn. Mrs. Victor P.
Morris was a special guest.
