English Version of Peace Corps
Surveyed on Huntley Reporting
Chet Huntley Reporting will be
seen on Channel 13 at 4:30 p.m.,
and will have one of the most in
teresting TV features of the day.
In view of our preparations for
the forthcoming operations of the
American Peace Corps, this half
hour report on Britain's Volun
tary Service Overseas program is
of special interest today. A par
ticularly interesting interview
with the director of the VSO,
Alec Dickson, fills you in with
a comprehensive picture of the
selection and training of the ap
plicants (who are sent out indi
vidually and not in groups as our
peace corps anticipates doing),
and interviews with two young
men on location in Jamacia and
British Guiana illustrates the
kind of work involved.
Other Sunday TV highlights:
9:30 a.m., Pro Baseball (13-8)
