the age of 82. He was born
May 26, 1872, in Miller County,
Missouri. He came to Oregon
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Riley Winfrey, at the age of
14. They settled near Irving.
Mr. Winfrey had lived near
Lowell for over 40 years be
for moving to Dexter. He mar
ried Mandy Elzora Tlner July
23, 1899, In Eugene. He was a
member of the Baptist Church
and Is survived by his wife; 1
daughter, Mrs. Earl Tlmmons
nf Monmouth; 2 step-children,
Mrs. Edna MrMaster of Buhl,
Idaho, and Slgle B. Tinner of
Dexter; 2 granddaughters, Mrs.
Clayton Horn of Dexter and
Mrs. Cleon Rome of Buhl, Idaho.
7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters,
