Mrs. K. E. Rutledge Has New Grandson
Mrs. K. E. Rutledge has re
ceived word from Honolulu of the
birth of another grandson. He is
Keith Eric Rutledge, son of M
Sgt..and Mrs. Ted Rutledge, born
Aug. 14 at the hospital at Scofield
Air Base where Sgt. Rutledge is
stationed with the U.S. Air Force.
He has two older brothers, James
and Michael. Maternal grand
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jim
Walker of Salem.
ANGEL FOOD DELIGHT is the name of this heavenly concoction made with an angel food cake
mix. The cake has a hidden filling of strawberries, pineapple and whipped cream and is topped
with whipped cream frosting and toasted almonds.
Brother Sees Sister
On Eastern Trip
Mr. and Mrs. Carl M. Berger-
son of Springfield recently re
turned from a trip throughout
several eastern states. Mr. Ber
gerson visited his sister, Mrs.
Elizabeth Twiet, at Holcomb,
Wis.
The brother and sister had not
seen each other for 44 years.
They were born and spent their
childhood in LaCrosse and later
separated near Capitol, Mont., in
1901. Mr. Bergerson now is 75 and
his sister 70.
The Bergersons were taken on
the trip by their son, Chris, and
his family of Sacramento. Mr.
and Mrs. Bergerson have seven
sons, four of whom live in Oregon
and three in California.
