away at a local nospital on May
1, 1952. He was born Nov, IS,
1868, in Scotland and was united
in marriage to Clara B. Welch
at Joliet, 111., on June 15, 1892.
The deceased moved from West
fir to Eugene in 1938. He was
a member of the Church of
Christ and the Iroquois Lodge
No. 143 I.O.O.F, of Rensselaer,
Ind. Besides his wife, he is sur
vived by 2 sons: Charles H. of
Harlonton, Mont., and Melvin
W. of Shawmut, Mont.; also 4
grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be
held at Poole-Larsen Chapel
Monday, May 5, at 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Clinton L. Storm will offi
