Pointing out that, "We are liv
ing in an anxious age," he warn
ed "Life becomes intolerable for
the person who is bored and a
person is bored because he is self-
conscious." He lamented that,
"Man is deathly afraid . . , anxi
ous . . . and he Is most afraid of
freedom because freedom means
responsibility."
In this "terrifying haste to get
away from themselves," people
should turn to worthwhile activ

laceration. Gail Ann Kennedy, 715
Whiteaker Ave., Cottage Grove,
was injured about 8 p.m. Tuesday
when she fell on a nursing bottle.
She is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Norman Kennedy.
