My dictionary defines a bachelor
as "a man who has not married,"
but it may be a bit old-fashioned.
A glance at these lists shows that
they have several widowers or
grass widowers. However, in loan

stretching their definition a bit
to cover every possible target.
Good, grey Barney Baruch

that is one he doesn't have to

U. S. War Weapon
PARIS (IP) Russia accused
the United States Monday of hav
ing turned the International Bank
into a "U. S. enterprise to foster
American war preparations."
In a broadside attack on the
World Bank, Soviet Delegate
Amaznsp Arutiunian told a United
Nations committee the World
Bank was being used by, the
United States as a "special organ
for intelligence work in peripheral
countries around the borders of
the Soviet Union."
"Under the guise of an interna
tional organization United States
representatives have' been busy
collecting secret intelligence in
countries like Turkey and Iran,"
Arutiunian said, adding:
"Now the attention has been
shifted to the north to Finland."
U. S. Delegate Isidor Lubin, In
a brief reply, rejected the Russian
charges as a mixture of lies and
half truths.
