Eugene Quota Club offers lov

double pleasure of viewing an un
usual collection of such objects,
while also serving a charitable
purpose, in its benefit tea today
for the Children's Hospital
School. The tea, sponsored by the
local club through the generosity
of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. McKee of
Leaburg, is at the McKee home
on the McKcmie Highway be
tween Leaburg and the dam.
Hours of the tea are from two
thirty to five o'clock. Receiving
with Mrs. McKee will be Mrs.

With her maternal grandfather,
the Rev. Willard A. Elkins of
Salem, hearing her wedding vows,
Miss Beverly Wright, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Larson Wright
of Springfield, became the bride
of John Lowe Jr., last Saturday
evening at eight o'clock, at
Springfield First Christian
Church. Mr. Lowe's parents are
Mr. and Mrs. John Lowe, also
of Springfield. The Rev. Claude
O'Brien, pastor assisted with the
service.
The bride's dress was a Victorian-period
gown of white satin-back
crepe made with stand-
up collar, tight-fitting bodice with
front closing of thirty-six tiny,
satin-covered buttons, and Ieg-o'-mutton
sleeves. The full gath
ered skirt formed a cathedral
length train and her fingertip
veil of illusion, lace trimmed,
fell from a crown of seed pearls.
She carried pink gladiolus and
stephanotis and for somthing old,
wore a cameo necklace on a gold
chain belonging to her great
great grandmother. . Mr. Wright
gave his daughter in marriage.

sion at Institute Tecnologico,
Monterrey, Ncuva Leon, Mexico,
together with students from
Stephens College, Mo., and other
eastern and southern colleges.
Before returning home, Miss
Beltz will visit college friends
in Mexico City, Los Angeles and
San Francisco. She will attend
the University of Oregon this
year.
