Albert Lester Holt
Albert Lester Holt, 68, died at
his home Rt Curtin Monday. He
was born April 13, 1880 at VI-
roqua, Wis., and moved to Ne
braska with his parents In 1882.
He married Flora V. Spencer of
Chicago at Neligh, Neb., and they
settled In 1910 at Firesteel. S.D.,
and came to Curtin In 1936.
Surviving are his widow; six
children. Harry S. and Phillip S.,
both of Creswell, Mrs. Grace
Coins and Mrs. Dorothy L. Boohcr,
both of Curtin. Mrs. Bernlce De-
Boyer, Ashland and Mrs. Flora
M. Payne, Prairie City; 21 grand
children.
Services will be Wednesday at
10 a.m. at the family home in
Curtin. with Interment In Corn-
stock Cemetery. Smith Mortuary
of Cottage Grove will have charge.
The family has asked that no
flowers be sent.
Dr. Loran Bogan
Dr. Loran Bogan, Rt. 1, Spring
field, died Feb. 19 at a local hos
pital. He was born Jan. 19, 1888
at Champaign, III., and married
Bessie Ford at Scio Oct. 14. 1932.
He was graduated from the North
Pacific Dental College at Port
land in 1912, where he practiced
dentistry until coming to Eugene
to practice in 1922. He was a
member of the Oregon State and
American Dental Assns.
Surviving are a son, Jack Bogan,
Eugene; a daughter, Jacqueline
Bogan, Salem; a granddaughter,
Christine Bogan, Eugene.
Services will be Tuesday at 4
p.m. at Poole-Larsen Mortuary,
with Dr. Vance Webster officiat
ing. Concluding services will be
at Eugene Crematorium.
James Douglas Clark
James Douglas Clark, 88, Cedar
Creek, died Feb. 19. He was born
Dec. 29, 1862 at Iron Hill. Iowa,
and married Hattie Akers July
12, 1891 at Colorado Springs, Colo.
A retired farmer, he lived at
Cedar Creek 24 years.
Surviving are his widow; chil
dren, Clyde P., Cottage- Grove,
Charles D. Summer, Lake, Ore.,
Orville, Klamath Falls, Mrs. Nelda
Negelspack, Bremerton, Wash.;
ten grandchildren; two great
grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Clyde
McVey, Iowa.
Services will be at Mills Mor
tuary at Cottage Grove Tuesday
at 2 p.m.. with the Rev. James
Powell officiating. Interment will
be in Taylor-Lane Cemetery.
