field, became the bride of Rich-
ard Wilder, son of Mrs. Louise
Wilder, Eugene and Manley
Wilder, Honolulu, T.H. The
ceremony as read within the
Chapel of First Congregational
Church, by the Rev. W. G. Nich
olson, Saturday afternoon, No
vember 6 at three o'clock.
Miss Spores' gown, which had
been worn years ago by her
grandmother, Mrs. William Nor
wood of Cottage Grove, was of
Ivory Chinese silk, made with
round shirred yoke, long sleeves
and a short train. Lacs flower
medallions edged the yoke. The
fingertip veil was gathered to
form a head dress by rows of
shirring. She carried for the tra
ditional "something borrowed"
a handkerchief carried by her
mother at the letter's wedding.
Her flowers were American
Beauty roses.
Mrs. Hobert Murdoch, Spring
field, was matron of honor,
wearing a gown of powder blue
taffeta, with head dress of white
ribbon and multi-colored nose
gay. Bridesmaids were Misses
Mary Alice Baker and Betty
Bounds, the first in gold satin
and t h second in baby blue
satin, each carrying a nosegay.
Carolyn Spores, small sister of
the bride was flower girl, wear
ing a gown of cream colored
taffeta. Misses Marilyn Eyerly
of Salem in white organdy, and
Dawn Koster in powder blue or
gandy, lighted the candles.
Mrs. Spores, mother of the
bride was dressed in black vel
vet and lace. Mrs. Wilder wore
wine satin. Both wore white
carnations.
Frank Bishop served as best
man. Ushers were Francis Pa
lanuk, Donny Quinn and Ron
ald Spores. The bride was giv
n in marriage by her father.
White chrysanthemums and
ivy were used to decorate the
church. Music was provided by
Miss Mary Grubbs at the organ,
who played, "One Alone" and
"1 Dream of Jeante".
Mrs. Mnnlee Spores cut the
cake at the reception in Wheel
er Room of the church. Mrs.
Zelma Kdwarria and Mrs. Cecil
Ttunyon assisted. Mrs. llnrry
Hill poured. Guest book was in
charge of Miss Connie Ohlsen.
Mr. and Mrs. Wildor went on
a trip to Portland, slio wearing
a black dress with wine coat.
They will live here for a while
but will go to Southern Cali
fornia later where both will at
tend university. Both have at
tended University of Oregon.
Still later they plan to live at
Honolulu.

At Catholic Church
St. Mury's Catholic Church
was the scene of the wedding of
Miss Elizabeth Louise Cabe, dau
ghter of Mr. -and Mrs. W. C.
Cabe, to Keith Dwane Watson,
son of Mr. and Mrs.'M. R. Wat
son, all of Eugene. The wedding
was solemnized Sunday after
noon, November 7, at two-thirty
o'clock, by the Very Rev. Francis
P. Leipzig.
The bride's gown was of while
slipper satin, made with long
sleeves and a long train, and
trimmed with lace and seed
pearls. Her pcurl necklace was
a gift of the bridegroom. Her
veil was lace trimmed and held
by a beaded tiara. She carried
a bouquet of white roses and
an orchid. '
Miss Louise Kokkeler was
maid of honor, wearing a gown
of pink with white chrysanthe
mums and a matching headdress.
Four other bridal attendants
were gowned in blue with pink
chrysanthemums and matching
head dresses, They wcre Mrs.
John Revcll, and Miss Roberta
Cabel, sisters of the bride; Mrs
Donald Watson, and Miss Dar
lene Watson, sister-in-law and
sister of tho bridegroom. Robert;!
Armony of Bend and Miss Aud
rey Carter of Corvallls lighted
the candelabra at the altar rail.
' Darrell Dwyer acted as best
man. Ushers were Donald and
Jack Watson, William Cabe,
Donald Sunder and Richard
Armony. The bride was escorted
to the altar by her father1.
Music was provided by Mr.
and Mrs. Dole Cooley. Yellow
and white chrysanthemums were
used in decorating the church.
A reception followed in the
bride's home, Mrs, Francis
Wilde, Mrs. Henry Armony and
Mrs. Wilbur Carter, all aunts of
Ihe bride, with Miss Roberta
Cabe served.
For going away Mrs. Watson
wore a suit of dark wine with
grey accessories. They now are
living at 572 Eleventh Avenue
West.

tailored dress of green wool and
for her flowers had a corsage of
white gardenias. The couple was.

Weischedel. The Davenports
plan to make their home in the
