- It was a good yeai'Tor'the Wayne Morse family in Washing
ton, reports diminutive Mrs. Morse from the family home in
Eugene, where she and their three daughters are vacationing
through August. All the family remained well, the mother's first

Senator Morse entered a new field, as president of the Alice
Deal School's "Home and School Association," which corresponds
to the Parent-Teacher Associations in Eugene. Judith, the middle
daughter, was a student at Alice Deal Junior High School, and in
the coming year brown-eyed young Amy will join her there. The
senator again will be active, as he was re-elected to the presidency
of the association, unanimously. (In his acceptance speech, he re
marked that he hoped the senatorial election would go as well.)

seventeen, will be a senior this
fall at Woodrow Wilson High
