Woman Injured

pitalized in a traffic accident
Monday at the- intersection of
Eleventh Ave. and Lawrence St.
Drivers of the cars involved were
William McDpugal, 142 Lawrence,
and Stanley Dawson, with whom
the Injured girl was riding. Both
cars were moderately damaged.

Dog Show Plans

Benching for tha dog show
Sunday at the Armory Is prac
tically finished, according to
Dorothy Duree, Eugene Kennel
Club president, and no more vol
unteer carpenters are needed.
However, Saturday night late,
after the wrestling match, the
volunteer "Stevedores, Inc." .will
reassemble at the Armory to un
load the benching and install It
on the main floor, and make
everything ready for the big
show, which runs all day and
evening, Sunday. Gray's Feed
and Seed has offered to transport
the benching and give it free
storage afterward. Spicer's Mill
and the Eugene Planing Mill do
nated most of the lumber.
Patrons interested in dogs are
especially invited to attend the
Kennel Club meeting, Wednesday
evening at the upstairs auditor
ium at Carey's Stove Store, ac
cording to Mrs. Duree, who stres
ses the fact that It la not neces
sary to own a dog to belong to the
club.
At the meeting, membership
applications will be received, of
ficers nominated for next year,
last-minute dog show details ar
ranged, and several experienced
kennel owners will speak, giving
advice to amateurs on dog show
procedure and showmanship.
