Veterans Don't
Need Licenses

apples or other merchandise,

Nor do they have to pay a
license fee on any business es
tablished under provisions of the
GI Bill of Rights, he added.
Such licenses are to be Issued
without cost by the county audi
tor or city clerk upon presenta
tion of a certificate of honorable
discharge, Troy said.
He Issued the opinion for John
L. Slavenburg, state director of
the veterans' rehabilitation coun
cil, who had asked whether a
county, city or other political sub
division In the state could collect
such license fees from veterans.
