This matter coming on for hearine on
the petition for the creation of a water
control district, as provided by Chapter
289 of the 1047 Session Laws of the 44th
Legislative Assembly of the State of
Oregon, to be known as the Blachly
Water Control District, with said hearing
being held in the County Court Room of
the County Court House In the City of
Eugene, Lane County. Oregon, on the
first day of December, 1047 at the hour of
10:00 a.m., and
The court having heard and considered
written and oral arguments and state
ments for and against the granting! of the
petition and the creation of the district
and to the proposed boundaries for the
district, the court now being fully ad
vised, and
it appearing to tne court mat tne
proper name for said district, in the
event that It is created in the manner
provided by law, is Blachly Water Con
trol District, and
It appearing to the court that the said
Blachly Water Control District, with
boundaries as hereinafter set forth, will
be of benefit to the lands within said
boundaries upon the construction, opera
tion and maintenance of drainage and
flood and surface water control works
which will prevent damage to and des
truction of life and property by floods
and which win improve the agricultural
and other uses of land within said boun
