NEW HAVEN, Conn., March 21
W) Winston Churchill, man of
action, plans to dictate part of his
memoirs while resting in bed.
The former British prime min
ister, who sailed for home this
morning aboard the Queen Mary,
took with him two electronic v re
cording sets equipped wtih a spe
cial lapel microphone to be used
alternately at the bedside and
while pacing up and down.
He also purchased 1000 plastic
discs, enough to record 250,000
words of the story of his life.

lia reported Tuesday.
The settlers included Jack
Fleming, a carpenter from Wyom
ing who returned to rejoin his
Australian wife. Fleming brought
with hira his 70-year-old father
who hopes to raise cattle in north
ern Queensland.
