An unseasoned "vacation" was
declared in the school yesterday
when janitors refused to pass
picket lines to tend the building

The union, an ABL affiliate,
was picketing the schools in sup

"complete bargaining agent" for
janitors and bus drivers.
Board President G. Palmer
Swenson and Superintendent J. D

duras mahogany, a dinette done in

controlled air condition and a
chrome-plated oil heater.
Also there is a bathroom with
a frosted glass door, four wardrobe
closets, floor lamps, glass sky
lights, an electric washing ma
chine beside the stainless steel
sink, four-wheel brakes electrical
ly operated, 14 lights on its ma
sonlte exterior and an automatic
garbage disposal unit.
Five Rooms
This model contains five rooms:
living room, dinette, kitchen, bed
room and bath. It weighs about
9S00 pounds and is 35 feet long.
The first of next year it will be
available to the public
In these homeless, roomless
days, the 10 companies wanting to ;
make trailer coaches are so far
behind in their orders they've al
most lost track. Twenty-five firms
exhibited here the models they
hope to produce in quantity when
sufficient materials can be bid.
These models range In price
from $30,000 to $1135; in weight
from 9500 pounds to 1700; in
length from 35 to 18 'A feet.
Two Story Trailer
One of the most revolutionary
types is the two-story kind. An
entire second floor telescopes
down over the first floor when
traveling. One person can raise
the second floor in three-minutes
by turning a valve controlling a
hydraulic jack. When expanded,
the trailer is 15 feet high, when
telescoped It is 10 feet high.
Most of the models are adver
tised on an I'.O.B. basis. Furnish
ings cost extra. For example, one
trailer selling at $4500 F.O.B.
would have to be furnished at a
cost of about $850.
