Stadium Building
The Eugene school board ap
proved plans for construction of a
bus garage and a caretaker's
apartment, at civic stadium, dur-
mg its regular meeting Monday
night. Board members authorized
preparation of specifications and
call for bids, but decided to post
pone the project of turfing the
stadium field until further study.
Business of the Monday night
meeting 'also included: approving
payment to Woole-Camplan com
pany of $32,390.10 for work com
pleted to date and materials on
the ground at the site of the new
Colin Kelly junior high school;
and naming Percy Brown auditor
for the district for the coming
year.

Mixed Chorus To Give
Concert On Campus
For the first time since before
the war a chorus of mixed voices
will be presented in concert at
the University of Oregon, when
Donald Allton, assistant professor
in trie school of music, directs the
choral union in their first public
appearance in McArthur court
Tuesday, Feb. 19.
An All-American program will
be presented by the chorus of 200
voices. The orchestra, under the
direction of John Stehn, assist
ant professor in the music school,
will also present a series of num
bers. '
