Produce priceg In the Eugene marketm
were steady and unchanged Saturday,
with offerings of all aeasonal fruits and
vegetable! plentiful.
At the public market tomatoes were
still coming In, the weather during the
growing season being excellent for con
tinuous ripening of this croo. They were
selling at 10 cents a pound. Wax beans j
were sun on hand, the price being
quoted at 15 cents a pound, and there
were on hand rhubarb at 10 cents
pound; lettuce. 19 centi a head; cab
bage, T cents a pound; corn. 40 cents
a dozen ears. Tn the fruit line there
was a good supply of apples. Grimes
uoiaen. jonainan. spitzenoergs and
Gravensteins predominating. The price
ranged from 51.7 to 3.Z.40 Dusnel. I
