Liquor Fund Received
County Treasurer Grace Schis-
ka Thursday received a check
from the secretary ot state at
Salem for $41,835.40, which Is the
county's balance on the 1942 al
lotment of motor vehicle and fuel
tax.
The treasurer also received an
allocation ot funds from the state
liquor commission at Salem. Lane
county receives $1831.77; the city
of Coburg. $21.58; Cottage Grove,
$124.27; Creswell, $23.52; Eugene,
$986.08: Florence, $21.67; junction
City. $56.17; Oakridge, $24.61, and
Springfield, $180.06.

nesday. He discussed the place -of
the circuit court and the powers
of the court and those who form
It. Among other things, Judge
Skipworth emphasized the im
portance of the Jury system for
Americans. His talk was one of a
series being given this month for
the club on "know your public
officials," Dr. P. J. Bartle in
charge. .
