was professor of physics here from

Stolen, Recovered
Two more cars and three bi
cycles were reported stolen to city
police Tuesday. Both cars were
recovered.

stolen the same night.
Bikes belonging to Roy C. An

The Swan Finance Co., Eighth
and Pearl, reported to police that
a spare tire and wheel, a hum
and a battery had been stolen

Church Being Built
By Volunteer Labor

streets.
The church is being built by
volunteer labor. The sub-floor
has already been laid in the
30x50 foot construction. It is
hoped that it will be ready for
use by the end of this month.

the Rev. James H. Taylor, 1287
D street. It is affiliated with the
Angelus Temple in Los Angeles,
Calif., of which Aimee Semple
McPherson is pastor.

Boeing airplane factory in Seattle
Wednesday, it was announced
Tuesday by James Bagan, man
ager of the Eugene employment
office.
The factory received 23 students
from the course at the beginning
of the week. Mr. Bagan said op
enings for new students in the
class will be made available as a
result of these two groups being
called for jobs in the aircraft industry.
