on charges of intoxication. State

Manhunt Spurred For
Slayer of Housewife
NKW YORK. Jan. 12. UP) The
slaying of a 25-year-old housewife
whoso beaten and strungled body was
found in an overflowing bathtub sent
police on nu intensive manhunt today.
The body of the victim, Mrs. Mary
Uobinson Case, clad only in silk un
derwear and stockings, was discovered
by her 30-year-old husband, Frank,
when he returned to bis Jnckeon
Heights, Queens, apartment early last
night. Dr. Richard Grimes, Queens
county medical examiner, said the
woman had not been attacked.
