day seasion of the East Side farm

were of the normal liberal Friday

Tomatoea continued to Improve In
tone and price waa up a nickel gen
erally over the previoua day with
many sales 40c box while 2a sold as
high aa 80c.
Cantalotipea wore steady aa a rule
with Yakfma-Wapato stock moatly
65-70c and Grand Island Spears 60
65c while The Dallea stock sold
around 70-75c. Dillarda were $1.25
crate.
Peaches sold well but large sizes
continued scarce. Beat Willamette
valley Crawfords aold around 65-70c
generally with a few 76c while The
Dallea Crawfords were 65-70c and

for three eights and finer combing
wools nnd modernte for woolen
wools, with prices very firm through
out, showing a recovery of a half
cent to n cent in the grense during
the past fortnight.
"The piece goods end of the mnr
ket is also better but still meeting
price resistance, which is passed on
to spinnerB and combers.
"Foreign markets are generally
steady. The politiccnl situation in
continental Europe is interfering to
some extent with English textile ex
ports. "Activity in the west Is less pro
