NOW AT LOW EBB
BOSTON, July 18. m The Com
mordal Bulletin will ssy tomorrow!
"Interest in wool, both In the east
and west, has been at low ebb this
week. Manufacturers have evinced
very little desire to own wool st the
prices asked here, especially since the
aharp drop In London and the buyers
of goods evidently sr. convinced that
a drop In wool prices is inevitable
and so they are waiting. Sales for
the week have been negligible and
prices are nominally unchanged.
"London closed Thursday with
little show of interest at the new low
levels established Isst week but the
sales were sustained almost wholly by
Enaland. Of a total offering ot 89,'
700 bales, only 44,000 bales were
sold. England taking 25,0W. Prices
were down generally 20 to 25 per
cent from the previous series.
In the west, little change is
sorted. The consignment of the Still
water pool t 20 cents advance and
the sale of the J. B. Long clip in
Montana at 25 'cents, each compris
lng about 400,000 pounds, bar been
the big items of the week.
The Bulletin will publish tne 101
