Mrs. Frank McForland entertain
ed with a dinner Wednesday evening
honoring Mrs. Carrie Knight of En-
gene, past grand chief of tho Pythian
nisiurs. vmesis were .Mrs. Llarn Col
lins and Mrs. O. M. Kem.
Mrs. Hay Jones of Eunone was a
visitor Thursday at the Elbert Bede
home. She was accompanied home by
n daughter, Ada Marie Jones, who
had spent severnl days visiting here.
Members of the Ncedlecrnft club
entertained their husbands with a
bridge party Wednesday evening at
the home of Mr. nnd Mrs. Herbert
n hillock. Mrs. Ear Baldwin held high
score for women and Bill Bartels
high score for men. The rooms were
attractive with summer flowers and
refreshments were served ot a late
hour. Their next meeting will be a
picnic in two weeks.
A home talent radio program was
presented Wednesday evening at .the
Methodist church by the Indies' aid
socity. C. E. Vmphrey acted as an
nouncer nnd radio characters were as
follows: Amos and Andy, F. T. Oran
nis and Loron Harvey, Richfield re
porter, S. L. Mackin; Boswell sisters,
Dorothy Stewart and Edna Mae Har
vey; Iliug Crosby, Ijoren Harvey;
