at the regular meeting of the Chris
tian aid society at her home Wed
nesday nfternoon. Work supplied con
sisted of that on articles for the ben
efit baznar for the old people's home
in Eugene. Those present were Sirs.

bell, Sirs. Ida Aldiich. Sirs. C. K.
Cooley. sirs. R. E. Toder and Mrs.

The program sitonsored by the
Christian Kndeavor of the Christian
church Tuesday evening was well
patronized. The project was for the
benefit of missions and a generous
silver offering was received. The plays
and special numbers were well pre
sented. Miss Vera Gwyther of Kugene is
visiting relatives in Creswell this
week.
A large sign has been placed at the
front of the M. (I. Viles place adver
lising the firemen's benefit barn
dance to he given in (he dairy barn
recently completed. The various com
mittees have been busy getting af
fairs lined up for the event and a
large crowd is anticipated.
