Hazel Agnes Byrne wns born in
Idaho, December IS, 1POH, and when
hut a small child moved with her fam
ily to this community where most
of her girlhood and school days were
passed. On July It, 11)1 S. she wns uni
ted in marriage to Alfred Poole of
this place. Mr. and Mrs. Poole have
lived at Stayton for several years.
She passed away Friday. July 15, nt
4 n. m. nt the state tubercular sani
tarium at Salem.
She is survived by her widower,
one son. Orval, and four little daugh
ters; her father and stepmother, Mr.
nnd Mrs. It. D. Byrne of McMinnville
and two brothers, Edward Byrne of
Lake Creek and Charles Byrne of
Ilellfouniaiu.
She wns a member of the Baptist
church at Stayton. The funeral ser
vice wns conducted by Rev. Rnlnh
